Last night I attended an event in Kolonaki at the TR2 concept store, where a special diffusion line curated by Michael Pantos was presented. The line consists of eight fashion items designed by Sotiris Georgiou, Chris P, Dimitris Petrou, Katerina Psoma and Stathis Samantas and of course Studio TR2.

So, let's see how this goes: I made a new video for my new Greek youtube channel, but since I'm not speaking in it and I'm only showing outfits I guess all of you can watch it, even if you don't speak Greek! The brands and the sites are of course in English, so....there you go! ;)

And here's the info about the outfits:

Outfit 1:
- Top from Bershka (old)
- Denim shorts that I DIY'd long ago (from an old pair of jeans, unknown brand)
- Wedges Supertrash (I bought them from a shop in Athens but you can also find them here)
- Bracelets from Funky Fish in Athens (sorry, I couldn't find an online shop for that) and ring from Accessorize

Outfit 2:
- Dress from Boohoo
- Wedges UGG (I bought them from Athens again, but I found them here for you)
- Clutch (which is actually an ipad case) Fullah Sugah
- Bracelets from Funky fish again

Outfit 3
- Dress from Boohoo (I couldn't find it on the site, so I'm guessing it's sold out)
- Wedges Steve Madden (you can find them here)
- Clutch from Miss Selfridge (old)
- Bracelets Funky fish,  wooden bead bracelet and ring from Istanbul

Outfit 4:
- Top Boohoo (bought in Spring)
- Shorts from H&M (old)
- Shoes Roccobarocco (old)
- Bag Anya Hindmarch (from Ebay, old)

Outfit 5:
- Top bought from a boutique in Piraeus
- Jeans Guess
- Shoes bought from a Mall in the area of Tuscany, Italy

I hope you like my video and please leave your comments there or here!

PS: The links are not affiliated or anything, I'm just trying to make it easier for you to find everything.

Last Wednesday, I was invited to attend Levi’s press event for the presentation of their fall collection for 2012. It was a hot summer night and I have to admit I was not so eager to leave my sweet - air conditioned - home, but I’m glad I did! The event was held at Balthasar bar-restaurant, a lovely neoclassical building with a beautiful garden.
The fall collection consists of jeans, plaid shirts, denim jackets, T-shirts and lots of casual clothing, but not just that. There are colored jeans for men, lovely denim dresses for women and tops and blouses made from soft fabrics in rich colors, very girlie and romantic. So the collection is still within the spirit of Levi’s, but with a twist!
I was also impressed by the Commuter series for men. It’s a collection for the urban cyclist. So no more lycra pants guys! Now you can ride your bikes in stylish Levi’s jeans and you will not get soaked if it rains (they are waterproof), or feel uncomfortable on the saddle. This series is designed to provide functionality, comfort and of course style!
At the event there was also a live performance by singer Panayotis Tsakalakos, winner of Greek Idol 2011 and a party afterwards, with finger food and cocktails!

Last night I attended the H&M press preview for the Autumn 2012 collection. The event was held at Booze Cooperativa in the centre of Athens and it was lovely. We got to see up close some of the clothing and accessories from the autumn collection and ladies I tell you this: you will love it!
From the chunky cardigans and the leather jackets to the sequined dresses and the statement jewelry, there are beautiful choices to mix and match and create some very stylish outfits.
At the event we also had the chance to “play” with some garments and accessories and have our picture taken with our chosen items! I was already wearing an H&M top and jeans, so I added a coral jacket and necklace and also a black hat and a pair of shades, to create my total H&M look!
Make up - wise, I opted for a nautical look, inspired by the new “Hey Sailor” collection by MAC (and I used all MAC products).

I know I should have made these last posts earlier in the week, but a mean cold had me feeling awful for the past few days. Well, better late than never...
I only went to the AXDW on Days 1 and 3, but I had a great time and it gave me the chance to meet some new people and catch up with others that I hadn’t seen in a while.
Outfit-wise I went for mostly blacks on both occasions. I guess my work dress code is starting to influence my whole wardrobe (I work for MAC and the dress code is “all black”!).  But you can never go wrong with black, can you?!
My make up is of course all MAC, but I honestly can't remember what eyeshadows and lipstick I wore in the first outfit. In the second, I used Print and Carbon eyeshadows lightly blended to create a soft smokey eye, and Impassioned lipstick with Boldly bare lip liner.

1st day outfit:
(Dress: Moschino, Shoes: Brian Atwood, Bag: Vintage, Pendant: Vintage)

3rd day outfit:

(T-shirt: Vintage, Leather skirt: Vintage, Pumps: Zara, Cross: random shop)

It was a celebrity parade alright! But surely not only that. I think Dimitris Strepkos and Eleni Mparla (the names behind Celebrity Skin), really raise the bar! They showed an excellent collection, with unique pieces, that are so avant garde, yet wearable (in an eccentric but stylish way).
I loved the turbans and the arty eyewear and all the shoulder or head pieces that added to the theatrical presentation. It was mostly blacks, with lace and leather and puffy shoulders and lots of skulls (especially in the men’s line).
The women's line kind of reminded me of Tina Turner in Mad Max, with the accentuated shoulders and that whole futuristic-dominatrix persona. At least that was the vibe I was getting...

The minute I saw the ecclesiastical candleholders on the runway I thought that we’re about to see something very intriguing. I couldn’t be more right. The lights went down and on the video wall a clip was playing, preparing us for what we were about to see, creating a very mystical atmosphere. And then, psalms were heard and men appeared dressed in black cloaks, holding lit candles that they placed in the candleholders. After that, the models started walking down the runway, showing the designer’s beautiful creations. The color palette consisted of blacks and silvers with a hint of blue and beige.
The jewelry/art pieces were by Perikles Kondylatos, and they made quite a statement!
I must say that this was the most impressive show (at least among the ones I saw) and kudos to Ourania Kay and her team for the idea and the amazing presentation!

On the first day of AXDW, Stephan Caras presented his collection for AW 2012-13, titled “Lush Sensuality”. The title describes perfectly what we saw at the show. Feminine and sensual shapes, made by lush materials such as brocade, fur, organza, and feather ornaments.
Stephan Caras is said to be “the designer who loves women” and that appears to be rightfully true. The figure hugging dresses and trousers and the see-through blouses and lush details would make a woman feel a million dollars!

P.S. Yvonne Bosnjak and Ana Dimitrijevic also walked down the runway and they both looked gorgeous!
